Rüegsegger is a youngster of the SCL Tigers, with whom he also made his debut in the National League. Rüegsegger has been a forward for La Chaux-de-Fonds in the Swiss League since 2022. In the last two seasons, however, he has regularly helped out Lausanne with a B license. Last season in the playoffs, the Emmental native played nine games for the finalists.
